It was such a serene experience the day of Randi and Justin’s wedding. I took my drive from Manahawkin towards Waterford to begin photographing Justin and his groomsmen at his family’s home. The windows were down in the car and the beautiful smells of spring filled the air. I could smell the lavender flowers in bloom and it really just made the day feel special as I drove through little towns on roads I’ve never been on down here in Southern New Jersey. It was amazing how I could live only thirty or so miles from all of these little places and have never passed through before. I always appreciate new things, new places, new experiences, so I guess that’s why this wedding journey felt so special.

Justin, his father, and his groomsmen we ALL hunters, and it’s so funny because Randi had told me before hand, “RJ, the guys are a little nuts.” I really didn’t think anything of it. However as soon as I arrived, they wanted to take photos with all of their hunting rifles! This was a first for me. We took a bunch of formals out in the yard amongst the spring greenery, and I made sure we took some with their trusty firearms, and some without.

Anyway, the day was beautiful, the weather was warm, the winery was nicely decorated, and most importantly, Randi looked beautiful. Her bouquet was so colorful, beautiful blue green flowers.
